Peak (Bakewell) Exhibition 2025
The 2025 Peak (Bakewell) Exhibition will take place on Saturday 7th and Sunday 12th June at our usual location of the Agricultural Business Centre close to the centre of Bakewell. The Centre is surrounded by a large Pay and Display car park and is a short walk from the main bus stops which are served by regular services from the surrounding towns and villages.

The 2024 event took place on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th June. Photograps of some of the layouts exhibited are shown below.
Geoff Barker's Stock Shed
Geoff is a long serving club member. His diesel / electric motive power shed has a working traverser. Geoff had his Czech locomotives equipped with DCC sound running all weekend and it was a popular layout. Geoff used to visit Czechoslavakia.
David Down - Matlock Riverside
David volunteers at Peak Rail and is qualified in all sorts of jobs. He has built his 'N' gauge railway modelling the centre where it runs close to the River
Dave Hall - Northern Junction
Dave has built this layout over the last 12 months and has captured that feel of the Borders.
Jacob Allsop - Allsop and Sons (Slate)Ltd
Jacob produces small industrial layouts such as this that are full of atmosphere.
Avyn A Llyn
This Welsh Narrow Gauge Coastal Layout of Alison and Andrew Bailey has a harbour and a beach full of sunbathers!
Hogwarts Castle
Malcolm Wilkinson brought his eye-catching Hogwarts Castle that both young and old love.
Glenties
Built by Alastair Knox this layout recreates a narrow gauge branch line in the north west of Ireland set in the 1950s
The Love Family Layout
The Love family's son, Archie, is so enthusiastic a model railway fan that the family has built this terrific layout that all children could operate - it was a great hit.
Howbrooke
Richard Smith built this modern image layout to show the railway operating in the present day. It featured some fast expresses as well as local passenger and freight trains.
