The Ashover Light Railway Society are restoring items that are compatible with those used on the railway before it closed in 1950. Based at the Peak Rail site in Rowsley, Derbyshire, they are hoping to have a short line in operation to display the restored rolling stock in a setting similar to that of the orignal route of the line.
