The Model Railway Exhibition run in conjunction with the Arkwright Society at the historic Cromford Mills takes place in August each year. The 2023 event has now closed and dates for 2024 have yet to be determined. Details are expected to be known early in the New Year and will be announced here. This event is the only time the large Wingfield Junction layout is displayed and is well worth a visit. Admission is free with all donations going to the Special Care baby units of Chesterfield and Sheffield hospitals.
